The Folding / Edition One
A thousand cranes. One wish.
For the things you hope for.
And the people you hold close.
Senbazuru / 千羽鶴
A thousand folds of hope.
In Japanese tradition, folding a thousand paper cranes is said to grant a wish. Together, these cranes are called senbazuru.
Each begins with a square of paper. Fold by fold, crane by crane, they are made and gathered into strands. They can be folded by one person or many hands, carrying hopes for healing, peace and the people we love.
The meaning lives in the act of making them: giving time and care to a hope you cannot yet hold in your hands.

From that tradition, our inspiration
One crane.
Your own wish.
FAÏE’s Thousand Wishes takes inspiration from this gesture of hope. The Folding · Edition One brings together one thousand numbered Crane pieces, each with a card of its own.
The paper-folding tradition is the inspiration for this numbered jewelry edition.
What would yours carry? A fresh start. Courage for the next step. Good news for someone you love. Your number makes it part of the edition; your wish makes it personal.
